The Jersey County War Memorial, which is located on the Jersey County Courthouse lawn, is still and will forever, accept the names of Jersey County veterans for the memorial.
To purchase a brick, send a check for $50 to the Jersey County Recorder’s Office, 200 North Lafayette, Jerseyville, IL 62052 and designate that it is for a brick. Please include the person’s name, rank and which war they served in and which arm of the military they served. Each time, a copy of an honorable discharge of DD214 must be produced.
